Here&#8217;s how to use it:<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"3:1-3:15\"><strong>On Desktop:<\/strong><\/p><ol data-sourcepos=\"5:1-7:0\"><li data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:41\"><strong>Open an email<\/strong> in your Gmail inbox.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"6:1-7:0\">Look below the email content. You&#8217;ll see <strong>suggested short responses<\/strong> displayed if Smart Reply is enabled for your account.<\/li><\/ol><ul data-sourcepos=\"8:1-9:0\"><li data-sourcepos=\"8:1-9:0\">These suggestions might be short phrases like &#8220;Thanks!&#8221;, &#8220;Sounds good!&#8221;, or more specific responses tailored to the content of the email.<\/li><\/ul><ol start=\"3\" data-sourcepos=\"10:1-12:0\"><li data-sourcepos=\"10:1-10:98\"><strong>Click on the most suitable response<\/strong> to automatically populate the reply box with that text.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"11:1-12:0\">You can <strong>edit the suggested response<\/strong> before sending it or simply click <strong>Send<\/strong> if it perfectly conveys your message.<\/li><\/ol><p data-sourcepos=\"13:1-13:14\"><strong>On Mobile:<\/strong><\/p><ol data-sourcepos=\"15:1-17:0\"><li data-sourcepos=\"15:1-15:38\"><strong>Open an email<\/strong> in the Gmail app.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"16:1-17:0\"><strong>Swipe right<\/strong> on the email content.
