Gmail has a built-in spam filter that automatically identifies and redirects suspicious emails to the Spam folder. Here’s how to manage these emails:<\/p>

Marking an Email as Spam:<\/strong><\/p>

On Desktop:<\/strong><\/p>

  1. Open Gmail<\/strong> in your web browser.<\/li>
  2. Locate the email you want to mark as spam. You can find it in your inbox or by navigating to the Spam<\/strong> folder in the left-hand menu.<\/li>
  3. Select the email checkbox<\/strong> next to the desired email.<\/li>
  4. Click the “Report spam”<\/strong> button** located at the top of the inbox (usually next to the trash can icon).<\/li><\/ol>

    On Android:<\/strong><\/p>

    1. Open the Gmail app<\/strong> on your phone or tablet.<\/li>
    2. Locate the email you want to mark as spam. You can find it in your inbox or by navigating to the Spam<\/strong> folder within the menu (usually accessed by tapping the three horizontal lines in the top left corner).<\/li>
    3. Tap and hold<\/strong> on the email to select it.<\/li>
    4. Tap the three vertical dots<\/strong> in the top right corner.<\/li>
    5. Select “Report spam”<\/strong> from the menu options.<\/li><\/ol>
