Instead, it will offer a base amount of storage for a fixed fee and a charge for additional storage. An initiative is underway to support the university&#8217;s transformation to a new Google service.&nbsp;<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5441668 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-child\" data-id=\"5441668\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9de807e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9de807e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"markdown markdown-main-panel ui-v2-enabled\" dir=\"ltr\"><p data-sourcepos=\"1:1-1:83\">There are two main methods to transfer your files from one Google Drive to another:<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"3:1-3:33\"><strong>Method 1: Download and Upload<\/strong><\/p><ol data-sourcepos=\"5:1-16:0\"><li data-sourcepos=\"5:1-10:0\"><p data-sourcepos=\"5:4-5:27\"><strong>Download your files:<\/strong><\/p><ul data-sourcepos=\"6:5-10:0\"><li data-sourcepos=\"6:5-6:147\">Go to <a class=\"traceable-link\" href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/drive.google.com\/<\/a> and log in to your source account (the one with the files you want to transfer).<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"7:5-7:148\">Select the files or folders you want to transfer. You can hold down the &#8220;Ctrl&#8221; key (Windows) or &#8220;Command&#8221; key (Mac) to choose multiple files.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"8:5-8:70\">Right-click on the selected files\/folders and choose &#8220;Download.&#8221;<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"9:5-10:0\">Google Drive will create a compressed ZIP archive of your chosen files.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"11:1-16:0\"><p data-sourcepos=\"11:4-11:33\"><strong>Upload to the new account:<\/strong><\/p><ul data-sourcepos=\"12:5-16:0\"><li data-sourcepos=\"12:5-12:143\">Log in to your destination account (the one you want to transfer the files to) on <a class=\"traceable-link\" href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/drive.google.com\/<\/a>.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"13:5-13:119\">Click &#8220;New&#8221; and select &#8220;Folder&#8221; to create a new folder if you want to organize your transferred files. (Optional)<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"14:5-14:102\">Click &#8220;Upload&#8221; and choose &#8220;File upload&#8221; to select the downloaded ZIP archive from your computer.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"15:5-16:0\">Google Drive will upload the ZIP archive and then extract the files within it to your chosen location (Drive or the newly created folder).<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol><p data-sourcepos=\"17:1-17:32\"><strong>Method 2: Transfer Ownership<\/strong><\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"19:1-19:155\"><strong>Important Note:<\/strong> This method transfers ownership of the files completely. The original owner will no longer have access to the files after the transfer.<\/p><ol data-sourcepos=\"21:1-33:0\"><li data-sourcepos=\"21:1-21:168\"><strong>Log in to your source account:<\/strong> Go to <a class=\"traceable-link\" href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/drive.google.com\/<\/a> and sign in to the account containing the files you want to transfer.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"22:1-23:115\"><strong>Access the Admin Console (Workspace accounts only):<\/strong> This method only works for Google Workspace accounts, not personal accounts. You&#8217;ll need access to the Admin Console for your organization. If you don&#8217;t have access, you&#8217;ll need to use the download and upload method mentioned above.<ul data-sourcepos=\"23:5-23:115\"><li data-sourcepos=\"23:5-23:115\">Go to <a class=\"traceable-link\" href=\"https:\/\/admin.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/admin.google.com\/<\/a> and sign in with your administrator credentials.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"24:1-26:38\"><strong>Navigate to Drive and Docs Transfer:<\/strong><ul data-sourcepos=\"25:5-26:38\"><li data-sourcepos=\"25:5-25:87\">In the Admin Console, go to <strong>Apps<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Google Workspace<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Drive and Docs<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"26:5-26:38\">Click on <strong>Transfer ownership<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"27:1-29:97\"><strong>Specify User Information:<\/strong><ul data-sourcepos=\"28:5-29:97\"><li data-sourcepos=\"28:5-28:99\">In the &#8220;From user&#8221; field, enter the email address of the current owner (your source account).<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"29:5-29:97\">In the &#8220;To user&#8221; field, enter the email address of the new owner (the destination account).<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"30:1-33:0\"><strong>Transfer the Files:<\/strong><ul data-sourcepos=\"31:5-33:0\"><li data-sourcepos=\"31:5-31:70\">Click on <strong>Transfer Files<\/strong>. A confirmation message will appear.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"32:5-33:0\">The new owner will receive an email notification to accept ownership of the transferred files.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol><p data-sourcepos=\"34:1-34:30\"><strong>Choosing the Right Method:<\/strong><\/p><ul data-sourcepos=\"36:1-38:0\"><li data-sourcepos=\"36:1-36:180\">Use the download and upload method if you want to keep a copy of the files in your source account or if you don&#8217;t have access to the Admin Console for a Google Workspace account.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"37:1-38:0\">Use the transfer ownership method if you want to completely move the files to the new account and you have access to the Admin Console for a Google Workspace account.<\/li><\/ul><p data-sourcepos=\"39:1-39:20\"><strong>Additional Tips:<\/strong><\/p><ul data-sourcepos=\"41:1-43:119\"><li data-sourcepos=\"41:1-41:67\">You can transfer ownership of individual files or entire folders.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"42:1-42:93\">Make sure you have a stable internet connection while uploading or downloading large files.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"43:1-43:119\">Consider creating a folder structure in your destination account before uploading to organize your transferred
