Instead, it will offer a base amount of storage for a fixed fee and a charge for additional storage. An initiative is underway to support the university&#8217;s transformation to a new Google service.&nbsp;<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f8fa52f e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-child\" data-id=\"f8fa52f\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7996d74 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7996d74\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"markdown markdown-main-panel ui-v2-enabled\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><div class=\"markdown markdown-main-panel ui-v2-enabled\" dir=\"ltr\"><p data-sourcepos=\"1:1-1:131\">You can download all your Google data, including Gmail messages, Drive files, contacts, and more, using Google Takeout. Here&#8217;s how:<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"3:1-3:24\"><strong>Using a web browser:<\/strong><\/p><ol data-sourcepos=\"5:1-18:0\"><li data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:124\">Go to the Google Takeout page: <a class=\"traceable-link\" href=\"https:\/\/takeout.google.com\/settings\/takeout\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/takeout.google.com\/settings\/takeout<\/a><\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"6:1-6:74\">You might need to sign in to your Google account if you aren&#8217;t already.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:136\">The page will display a list of all Google products for which you can download your data. By default, most products will be selected.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"8:1-8:62\">Deselect any products you don&#8217;t want to download data from.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:222\">You can also choose specific data points within a product. For example, in Gmail, you can choose to download all labels or only specific ones. Look for the dropdown menu or &#8220;Select data&#8221; option next to the product name.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"10:1-13:209\">Scroll down and choose your preferred export options:<ul data-sourcepos=\"11:5-13:209\"><li data-sourcepos=\"11:5-11:197\"><strong>Delivery method:<\/strong> Select how you want to receive your data. You can choose to download it directly, add it to your Dropbox or Google Drive, or schedule exports every two months for a year.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"12:5-12:68\"><strong>File type:<\/strong> Choose between a ZIP archive or a .tgz archive.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"13:5-13:209\"><strong>Archive size:<\/strong> You can set a maximum size for each archive file (default is 2GB). This might be helpful if you have a limited internet download capacity and want to split the data into smaller chunks.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"14:1-14:53\">Once you&#8217;ve selected your options, click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"15:1-15:195\">Google will start preparing your data archive. This might take some time depending on the amount of data you have. You&#8217;ll receive an email notification when your archive is ready for download.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"16:1-16:110\">In the email, click the link to download your archive. You&#8217;ll need to sign in to your Google account again.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"17:1-18:0\">Locate the downloaded archive file on your computer and extract its contents.<\/li><\/ol><p data-sourcepos=\"19:1-19:20\"><strong>Important Notes:<\/strong><\/p><ul data-sourcepos=\"21:1-24:0\"><li data-sourcepos=\"21:1-21:72\">Downloaded data might not be in its original format for all products.<\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"22:1-22:245\">Google Takeout might not support downloading data for all Google products or features.
