Mark or unmark Spam in Gmail
In February 2021, Google announced it would be phasing out the unlimited and free storage allocation previously available to schools and universities that use Google Drive. Instead, it will offer a base amount of storage for a fixed fee and a charge for additional storage. An initiative is underway to support the university’s transformation to a new Google service.

Important Notes:
- Marking an email as spam helps train Gmail’s filter to identify similar emails as spam in the future.
- Unmarking a legitimate email ensures you don’t miss important messages accidentally filtered as spam.
- Regularly review your Spam folder to catch any emails that might have been incorrectly filtered.
By effectively managing your Spam folder, you can maintain a clean inbox and avoid missing important messages while keeping unwanted emails out of sight.
